The Idaho Comprehensive State Water Plan
The
Idaho Comprehensive State Water Plan, developed by Idaho's Water Resource Board,
describes the designation of selected waterways in Idaho as protected rivers in Section 2D, entitled “STATE PROTECTED RIVER SYSTEM”.

The details of the protection for a given stream include those activities outlined in the Plan which are not allowed and an explanation of any exceptions to those protectections.
